Air Impact Mills
The Air Impact Mill Plant is a self-contained, mobile hard-rock processing system that combines primary crushing, fine milling, slurry preparation, and gold recovery on a single compact platform. Available in 2 and 4 ton-per-hour configurations, the plant is designed for commercial processing at remote mine sites, exploration projects, and small- to medium-scale hard-rock operations. In the field, dry run-of-mine material up to approximately 6 inches is fed directly into the mill by hand or through an optional hopper and conveyor. The high-speed impact rotor repeatedly breaks the rock until it is fine enough to pass through the rear sizing screen. Oversized particles remain inside the milling chamber for additional reduction, while the finished material is carried from the mill by the generated airflow. After milling, the dry product enters an integrated wetting cyclone, where it is mixed with water and converted into slurry. The slurry then gravity-feeds through a closed trough to an onboard 16-inch Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge for primary fine-gold recovery. This integrated layout reduces intermediate material handling and allows crushing, liberation, and recovery to be completed within one continuous processing system. The plant is intended for dry feed with less than approximately 15% moisture. Final dimensions and shipping weight depend on the selected feed system, trailer arrangement, power source, and other project options. Primary concentrate recovered by the Low-G Centrifuge can later be processed through a Reverse Multi-Helix Spiral Cleaner or Finisher to produce a reduced-volume, high-grade final product.
