Mobile Scrubber Trommel Plant (MSTP)
The Mobile Scrubber Trommel Plant is a self-contained, trailer-mounted alluvial processing system designed for deposits containing clay, sand, gravel, and oversize rock. Unlike a standard placer plant, the MSTP includes a dedicated scrubber/trommel section that breaks down and liquefies clay before classification and primary recovery. This releases fine gold and heavy minerals that may otherwise remain trapped in compacted or sticky feed material. In the field, material is loaded into the wet vibrating feed hopper, where water is introduced and the feed is metered into the scrubber/trommel. The material is washed and agitated to break apart clay and separate recoverable fines from oversize waste. The classified slurry then feeds the onboard Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge for primary gold recovery, while oversize material and tailings are discharged from the plant. The complete plant is mounted on a towable trailer and includes its own CAT-powered hydraulic drive, water pump, control panel, recovery equipment, and leveling jacks. Once positioned and leveled, the MSTP can typically be placed into production within a few hours. Its integrated design reduces the need for separate feed, washing, classification, and recovery equipment, making it well suited for remote sites, exploration programs, seasonal operations, and commercial alluvial production. MSTP plants are available in capacities from 15 to 100 cubic yards per hour. Smaller models provide a compact option for testing or lower-volume production, while larger configurations support commercial processing with one or more Low-G Centrifuges. Primary concentrate can later be processed through a Reverse Multi-Helix Spiral Cleaner or Finisher to produce a smaller, higher-grade final concentrate.
