Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge
The Low-G Horizontal Centrifuge is a commercial-duty centrifugal concentrator designed for primary recovery from both alluvial deposits and milled hard-rock ores. Unlike other gravity concentrators, the Low-G uses centrifugal force to drive free gold and other heavy minerals into a series of internal concentrate chambers, providing substantially higher fine-gold recovery than conventional gravity equipment.
Available in 16-inch, 30-inch, and 42-inch models, the Low-G Centrifuge supports production capacities from approximately 15 to 75 tons per hour. It is engineered to achieve up to high rates recovery of fine gold at 100 to 200 mesh, depending on the ore characteristics, liberation, classification, and operating conditions.
Its large internal concentrate capacity allows a properly sized centrifuge to operate continuously throughout the production day before cleanup is required. At the end of the run, the operating speed is reduced and the accumulated primary concentrate is flushed into a receiving container for further processing.
The resulting high-grade concentrate is ideally processed through the Multi-Helix Spiral Cleaner/Finisher, creating a complete gravity recovery circuit capable of producing a reduced-volume, high-grade, and potentially smelt-ready final concentrate. Low-G centrifuges can be installed as stand-alone units, operated in parallel for increased capacity, or integrated into automated alluvial and hard-rock processing plants.
